LIVING THE STORIES.

Hi everybody! These days we've been talking about storytelling in my university class and we have concluded that tales are a widely used resource in Pre-primary Education, we use them to teach values and vocabulary, among other things, while the kids have fun.
But we don't cause the same effect when we read a book just sitting in a chair than if we do it performing and living what we are telling. As I published two days ago we have to consider and care lots of things like tone of voice, gestures, etc. (Have a look at the publication in "Unit 2" called "How to tell a story" for more information). Also we have to include activities before the story (pre-teaching) to situate and motivate children and activities after the story (post-teaching) to reinforce the concepts that we wanted to convey.

I'm going to post four stories that follow this methodology. We have done one of the stories in our University class, "Little mouse Perez, is the last one. I leave some photos to give you an idea of the activity!
